Full Container Load (FCL)
Utilising full container loads offers the best value for importing and exporting goods around the globe.
With a flat rate per container fee, FCL is the most cost-effective method to transport your consignment.
However, if your consignment won't fill a container, you have two options:

Wait until you accumulate enough order to make a full load.

Talk to our team about a 'Less than Container Load' (LCL).
Less-Than Container Loads
Not enough to fill an entire container, a 'Less-than Container Load' (LCL) is your next best option.
With a LCL we will group your consignment with multiple, smaller consignments from various shippers to share a shipping container; which ultimately reduces the costs for you, as you only pay for the space your goods occupy.
Warehousing & Storage
Not yet ready to receive your consignment? No problem, we can store your goods in our secure 55,000sq ft warehouse, until you're ready to receive them, saving you money on excess storage costs.
When your consignment is stored at our facility, we can arrange to break bulk and ship to multiple destinations, storing buffer stock and shipping to you on a just in time basis. What is best for you?
Customs Clearance
To save you time, money and ensure a streamlined delivery, we can complete customs forms and submit them to HMRC on your behalf, using our web-based customs software.
Once submitted, entry and release can take anywhere from 1 to 48hrs, depending on the route selected and examination requirements.
At GCL, we take a proactive approach, collecting and processing documentation before arrival to minimise both admin and storage costs for our customers.
