Direct Customs Agent

GCL Logistics provides customs clearance services acting primarily as a Direct Customs Agent in accordance with the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions (2025 edition).

Under this arrangement, customs declarations are submitted to HMRC in the name of the importer or exporter using information supplied by them. The importer or exporter retains legal responsibility for the accuracy of information provided, including commodity classification, valuation and supporting documentation.
